Ruling by Third Circuit in Fallon v. Mercy Catholic Medical Center Provides Helpful Guidance on Definition of “Religion” Under Title VII

Although religious discrimination is prohibited under Title VII, there is not a lot of case law interpreting the scope of coverage. This recent appeals court ruling explores the issue of what is, and what is not, a protected religious belief.
