Once Again Invoking Congressional Review Act, Congress Repeals Controversial Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Anti-Arbitration Rule

The Congressional Review Act was approved by Congress in the 1990s, but until this year had been invoked only once to overturn a controversial federal regulation. So far in 2017, however, the Republican-controlled Congress has used the CRA more than a dozen times to repeal Obama-Era regulations, most recently an anti-arbitration rule issued by the CFPB.
