Ruling by Sixth Circuit in Williams v. AT&T Mobility Affirms Regular Job Attendance Can Be an Essential Function Under the ADA

In an issue that continues to arise under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a federal appeals court ruled that regular job attendance is an essential function of many jobs, and that an employee cannot demand elimination of regular attendance as an ADA reasonable accommodation.
