Since the beginning of 2006, employers with 50 or more employees working in the state of California have been required to provide a minimum of two hours of sexual harassment training every two years for all supervisory employees in the state. In addition, all new supervisory employees must be trained within six months of assuming their duties.
Recognizing that this is a continuing training obligation for many member companies, EEAC is now offering quarterly web workshops to facilitate compliance. These two-hour web workshop have been designed specifically for those supervisors located in California who must be trained and is fully compliant with the specific training requirements set out in the California law’s implementing regulations.
Each web workshop will be facilitated by EEAC’s staff expert Larry Kessler, and ample time will be available for discussion and participants’ questions. Additionally, participants will be able to download the workshop slide presentation, exercises and text of the pertinent laws.
All sessions will begin at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
