EEAC is pleased to offer a special
training program and format, presented by EEAC's staff experts,
and designed for HR professionals and in-house legal counsel
to give them the benefits of EEAC's three core training programs
condensed into an intense one-week session. This special EEO/AA Compliance Immersion Program will be held
at the EEAC Training Center in Washington, D.C. Program participants
will receive the EEAC Equal Opportunity Professional Certificate,
and all EEAC seminars qualify for recertification credit from
the Human Resource Certification Institute.
The one-week course combines the essential elements from
EEAC's popular Basic EEO, Responding
to Charges of Employment Discrimination, and Developing and Defending
Compliant Affirmative Action Programs seminars.
Although this course is designed to be intense, it offers
a unique and cost-effective opportunity for professionals
new to EEO and affirmative action to get the fundamentals
of compliance in both areas at one time, in one location,
taught by leading experts in the field. The registration fee
for EEAC members is $1,995, a savings of more than
$600 if each of the three core courses were to be taken separately,
not to mention the additional travel expenses associated with
attending three separate sessions. Course materials include
a binder with copies of overhead slides and relevant EEAC
memoranda, as well as copies of the three popular EEAC resource
manuals that accompany each of the three core courses.
Please note that attendance at each session is limited to
no more than 15 participants (12 minimum), so we encourage
you to register as soon as possible. Registrations are accepted
on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee
includes continental breakfast and lunch each day, and the
dress is casual.
EEAC Member Companies: $1,995 per registrant
Nonmember Companies: $2,695 per registrant
The course will be held at the EEAC Training Center, which is located in downtown Washington, DC at 1501 M Street, N.W., Suite 400, just three blocks from the McPherson Square/White House Metro stop. If your travel contemplates an overnight
stay, there are a number of hotels within easy walking distance
of the Training Center. Attendees are responsible for making
their own hotel arrangements. If you need suggestions for
hotels in the area, please check our website at http://www.eeac.org/docs/Hotel_Information.pdf
or contact EEAC's Program Line at 202-629-5655.
Cancellation Policy
This program requires a minimum of 12 participants,
and registrants will be offered either a full refund or the
ability to transfer to a future EEAC seminar in the event
that less than 12 register. Full refunds for cancellations
or credit toward another EEAC program will be made if received
by EEAC more than ten business days before the date of the
program for which you are registered. Cancellations or requests
for credit by EEAC ten business days or fewer before the program
you have registered for will result in a refund or credit
of only 50 percent of the registration fee. Failure to notify
EEAC of a cancellation or request for credit before the program
for which you are registered will result in no portion of
the registration fee being refunded or credited. Refunds
for cancellation or credit toward another EEAC program are
processed only if requested in writing. Refunds for cancellations
are processed after the program's date of completion.
Use of Recording Devices and Auxiliary Aids
Because EEAC's seminars are designed to encourage candid
questions and comments among participants, the use of any
type of recording device is not permitted. If because of a
disability you will need auxiliary aids or services to participate
in the seminar, please contact us prior to the session.
