Eleventh Circuit in Reeves v. C.H. Robinson Finds That Pervasive Workplace Use of Gender Derogatory Language Can Violate Title VII, Even If Not Directed at Complaining Party
The federal appeals court has ruled that the common workplace use of gender derogatory language by a female employee’s male coworkers can rise to the level of unlawful sexual harassment, even where there is no evidence that the language was directed at her personally.
