"eLegal" Forum
EEAC is pleased to announce that its next quarterly “eLegal” Forum will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time.  We have designed these periodic, interactive members-only conference call/web-enabled sessions to provide our busy member company in-house employment counsel with timely updates on breaking employment law and regulatory compliance developments in between EEAC’s “live” McDowell Legal Forum, which is held in Washington, D.C. in June of each year.

The September eLegal Forum will be moderated by EEAC’s General Counsel Rae Vann. Please click here for more information.

Participants in EEAC’s September eLegal Forum will receive a detailed outline containing summaries of relevant cases and links to EEAC Memoranda and other materials of interest.  If there is a particular issue you would like to see addressed, please email your question to Rae at rvann@eeac.org.

Registration Information

The per-line registration fee for the members-only eLegal Forum is $290.  To register, please click the register button below or call our Program Line at 202-629-5655.  You will receive an email confirmation together with instructions for participating in the eLegal Forum.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds for cancellations or credit toward another EEAC program will be made if received by EEAC more than five business days before the date of the program for which you are registered. Cancellations or requests for credit by EEAC five business days or fewer before the program you have registered for will result in a refund or credit of only 50 percent of the registration fee. Failure to notify EEAC of a cancellation or request for credit before the program for which you are registered will result in no portion of the registration fee being refunded or credited. Refunds for cancellation or credit toward another EEAC program are processed only if requested in writing. Refunds for cancellations are processed after the program's date of completion.

Continuing Legal Education

The Legal Forum qualifies in most jurisdictions for continuing legal education (CLE) credit. If you wish to receive such credit in a qualifying jurisdiction, the materials necessary to file for CLE will be available at the meeting.

Use of Recording Devices and Auxiliary Aids

Because EEAC’s web workshops are designed to encourage candid questions and comments among participants, the use of audio and/or video recording devices is not permitted. If because of a disability you will need auxiliary aids or services to participate in the meeting, please contact us prior to the session.
